About the Beach
Located in front of Fukuoka Tower, Momochi Beach is a completely man-made beach and was part of the Momochi area redevelopment.
The ocean is safe for swimming, and it's a nice place for taking a stroll. There's also plenty of great restaurants and assorted shops.
Beach volleyball tournaments go on here and it's also a popular jetski spot (Jetskis available for hire). Temporary beach bars line the beach during summer offering ice cold beverages and Japanese style snack foods.
A great place for a date or family fun.
